A peaceful vacation, that led me to a couple photo shoots in the US Virgin Islands. Travelling to different places allows for new ways to create and have a new perspective. Spending 10 days on these islands, I learned what the ocean had to offer.
A walk around downtown gives you some amazing photos. Even through all the bustle of the downtown, you can find a moment to feel what Nashville is all about.
Kellie Meyers (CBS)
A quick beach retreat to Magens Bay and Hulls Beach. Sometimes I travel and have some extra days to shoot. In those days, I open it up to whoever may be there. And sometimes, awesome people like Kellie decide to book me for a couple hours and we all become the best of friends. So next time I’m travelling near you, hit me up!
A beautiful wedding up in Gallatin, Tennessee. I was able to have an amazing time shooting this wedding up at the Square Depot. A more rustic feel called for a moodier edit to set the mood just right. So much emotion and love in this wedding!
A spontaneous trip to Miami led to way too many photos and sleepless nights talking about what we are going to do next. From South Beach, to the Key’s, we were able to see all of southern Florida in one trip. If you’re looking for a place to work on your mural photography, then Miami is the place to be.
Mimi Knowles (Musician)
When Mimi Knowles comes into town you know that you have to do a photoshoot! We took a stroll to the historical side of Nashville. A place where the sit-ins happened during the Civil Rights movement - The Arcade.
If you don’t know this guy and his music, you for sure need to check it out!
Sometimes, you decide that the model room needs an actual model. That’s when you figure you’d volunteer since you love the space so much. Had a blast figuring our way around downtown, and finding new places to shoot.
A birthday shoot. A flirty couple. A simple yet fabulous shoot. Sometimes you take someone like @littonave and invite her husband for a spontaneous shoot… and who cares that they are having a pillow fight in the middle of the 6th floor lounge.
The day before we just celebrated a wedding. A pretty fun one at that. But the real fun didn’t start until the next morning. Waking up at 4:30am, we made our way to Snoqualmie Falls, about 35 minutes east of Seattle. We made our way down the mountain and walked the river until finding this beautiful location. No one was around. No one dared to walk the river. But I believe that a shot like this, is worth every ounce of sweat.
Sean and Elizabeth
A quick three day trip to Seattle meant I could not only explore the city, but be part of this beautiful wedding. Coordinated with Love Vintage Co, Valley and Co and Intrigue Designs, we were able to pull of a gorgeous wedding day and shoot. Very thankful for all who helped out along the way.
A local fashion guru and master networker is found with Emmanuel LeGrair. Situated in Nashville, he helps others be more fashionable and finds those key connections. Catch him around town. One of the coolest guys you’ll ever meet.
Sara and Lane
It was out in this farm, a few hours away, and the feeling was exciting. A church, a cabin, a lake and a dock all set the perfect mood for this evening. Sarah and Lane sealed the deal and the venue could not have been more perfect. This editing style was more film look, often called Bright and Airy.
